Faitmaiz ArtWORK™ combines all of my artistic passions and "savoir faire" into exclusive contemporary canvas. Inspired from a Bar-rel, related with the world of whiskies or designed from scratch in collaboration with you, those unique and personalised paintings are here to capture time and tell about our different experiences.
Whether it's "live"or in my atelier, I'm using my own unique techniques to bringing back memories, inspired from your story, creating a unique piece that is yours.

CALEDONICE
Caledonice is born following nine consecutive days of me taking an Ice Bath Barrel. Dipping myself into a whisky cask filled up with ice water. Each sessions lasted between 3 to 8 min and I’ve only painted the canvas while in the water. I wanted to push myself and come up with something new and unique. Using also stencils designed with the CO2 laser, 24 Karats Gold leaf and power tools to paint. I wanted to bring in this painting all what I have been thinking and dreaming about this last year but never took the time to realise. A tribute to my time spent in Scotland, Caledonian Landscape, highland cow and Dara Knot are the symbols. This is also to all the artists that also have a family to look after, learning about myself and hopefully inspire some others.

MSF Healing Base Camp 2023 - Kaprun
This canvas is a poignant collaboration with the Mountain Seed Foundation (MSF), a nonprofit organisation dedicated to providing healing to children and families from war-torn countries, it represent not just art but a powerful journey of recovery and strength.
MSF's mission is to offer healing through a variety of experiential programs, including mountain-based healing and art therapy. This piece was created during an art therapy class at the Healing Base Camp in Kaprun, Austria - 2023.
Ellia and his little brother Andrew, two young Ukrainian children participants in the camp, embarked on this artistic journey with me, infusing the canvas with their unique stories and emotions.
A testament to the support and connection they found in each other and within the Healing Base Camp community. Together, we were on the same rope, helping each other climb the mountains that life had placed in their paths.
It would be auctioned to raise funds for future Healing Base Camp programs, ensuring that more children and families affected by the ravages of war in Ukraine could benefit from such program.
As the canvas awaited its new home, it whispered a message of hope and solidarity to all who beheld it: Together, with the support of organizations like MSF, we can conquer our own mountains, no matter how steep they may seem.

This is a tribute to my Grandpa who’s now 103 years old. Strong man! He leaves in Germany and still manage on its own. A dram and a cigar, enjoying those unique moment. Families are like branches on an oak tree, we grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one. Wondering now if that tree will be used to build a Barrel one day?!

STAGLISKER
This creation is inspired from Bar-rel 102, an old 1983 Talisker Cask that has been built during a Faitmaiz Masterclass. This is a tribute to its new owner, after hours and hours of intense and precise work (with lots of coffee time too!). A true fan of this amazing Island single malt Distillery based in Carbost, Scotland on the Minginish Peninsula on the Isle of Skye.

MACKA-LAN
All started in the workshop when Jeremy told me about his absolute favourite Whisky distillery. A Masterclass later, Bar-rel 98 was born. An exceptional Ex Sherry Hogshead Cask, used last to mature Single Malt in one of the most famous Speyside Distillery in Scotland. This canvas has been created using a photograph of the genuine cask end laying on the floor in the workshop during the build . This was part of his wonderful journey, now never to be forgotten.
IRYNA
This creation is inspired from Bar-rel 100, in collaboration with The Mountain Seed Foundation, to help the children and family of Ukraine during this difficult time. Named after one of the founder, using a photograph of my daughter and myself. This canvas is a tribute to all the dads in this world, with the faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains.
Auctioned in a fund-raising event in 2023 with Bar-rel 100 for $10500.

Is a creation inspired from Bar-rel 103 top cask end design. An Ex Sherry Hogshead Cask used last to mature Single Malt at the Mortlach Distillery in Scotland. Bill and Marita wished to remember their time spend in Vienna through this graphic featuring the Austrian coat of arms. It's represented with the broken chain, symbol of Austria's liberation.
